The meaning behind Headwaters

I’m proud to officially introduce Headwaters Talent Partners — a name and brand that reflects the work I’ve been doing this past year and the philosophy behind how I approach hiring.

I chose the name Headwaters because it represents the place where things begin with clarity, direction, and intention. Here in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, the headwaters shape everything downstream. In hiring, the same is true — when you start with a clear process, aligned expectations, and the right structure, everything that follows becomes smoother, faster, and more effective

Over the last year, I’ve supported teams by designing cleaner hiring processes, improving candidate experience, and supporting engineering, data, product, and leadership searches - all through a flexible, embedded model that meets companies exactly where they are.

The fractional model continues to prove its value: flexible, embedded, and senior-level support without agency fees or long-term commitments. This helps companies hire smarter, with better alignment and role clarity; hire faster, with streamlined interviews and fewer bottlenecks; and hire intentionally, with structure, scorecards, and training.
